1. Terms of use and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of P Drive, including its website, uploads, folders, downloads, and related features (the “Service”). “P Drive,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Service’s operator. “Content” includes files, images, recordings, filenames, folder names, descriptions, tags, and other material submitted through the Service.
By uploading Content, you agree to these Terms and the Sharing Guidelines, and acknowledge the Privacy Notice below. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement to upload. If you act for another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them. Do not upload if you do not accept these Terms.
The Service is a public sharing platform. It is unsuitable for confidential storage, sensitive personal records, or your only copy of important material. Your obligation to comply with applicable law exists independently of these Terms.
2. Uploader responsibility and representations
You are responsible for the Content you submit, the accuracy of its accompanying information, and the consequences of making it publicly available. You represent and warrant that you own the Content or hold every right, licence, consent, and authorization reasonably necessary for the uses you authorize, including the rights of identifiable individuals and any copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual interests.
You must examine file contents, filenames, folder names, and embedded information before uploading. Possession of a file, its age, its availability elsewhere, or the fact that you found it online does not establish permission to publish it. You must not misrepresent ownership, provenance, permission, identity, or reuse rights. A nickname or guest management key does not establish a verified identity.
You are responsible for securing your account and private management keys. Anyone possessing a guest key may be able to change or remove the associated contributions. You must not share a key publicly, use someone else’s key without authority, or attempt to bypass restrictions.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not upload, solicit, distribute, link to, or use the Service to facilitate:
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming, trafficking, exploitation, or any sexualized depiction of a minor, including unlawful synthetic or manipulated material.
- Non-consensual intimate images, sexual deepfakes involving an identifiable person without permission, or sexually explicit material. Lawful, consensual adult nudity must be labelled with the Adult content flag and is hidden from default discovery.
- Threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, stalking, unlawful hate propaganda, terrorist activity, or encouragement or facilitation of violence or other unlawful conduct.
- Copyright infringement, stolen files, unlawfully obtained personal information, breaches of confidence, defamatory statements, fraud, impersonation, or violations of another person’s rights.
- Passwords, access tokens, identity documents, private correspondence, financial or health records, or sensitive location information that you are not lawfully entitled to publish.
- Malware, deceptive file types, credential theft, security exploits, attempts to evade moderation or IP bans, interference with the Service, or activity that imposes an unreasonable load.
The adult-content viewing option is off by default. A flagged folder also flags its contents. Viewers may opt in for their browser session using a functional preference cookie. This preference does not make uploads private, establish a person’s age, or authorize prohibited Content.
These restrictions apply to all Content and to reports, messages, and other interactions with the Service. We may prohibit additional material or conduct that creates a material safety, privacy, security, legal, or operational risk.
4. Ownership and permission to operate the Service
You retain the ownership rights you hold in your Content. By uploading, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, with permission to engage necessary service providers, to host, store, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, make available for download, and technically process the Content to operate, secure, and moderate the Service. Technical processing may include previews, thumbnails, format validation, and the removal of supported image metadata. You authorize those technical changes to the extent permitted by law.
This operational licence does not transfer ownership and does not grant an unrelated advertising, resale, or AI-training licence. It continues while Content is hosted and for any restricted retention reasonably necessary for backups, dispute resolution, safety, or legal compliance. Removing Content ends prospective public distribution by the Service, subject to those limited retained copies.
Public access is not a general copyright licence. A contributor’s selected reuse licence applies only to rights they actually hold. Downloaders must independently establish permission for republication, adaptation, commercial use, or other restricted uses. P Drive does not verify every rights claim and does not endorse user Content.
5. Content moderation and enforcement
P Drive maintains content moderation and abuse-response controls, including user reports, a review inbox, private upload audit records, moderator notes, action history, contributor suspension, IP-based upload bans, and the ability to unpublish or delete files and folders. Reports and observed concerns inform moderation decisions.
Uploads may become public automatically after storage and format checks and before human review. Moderation is not continuous or comprehensive. Format validation and image metadata processing do not establish legality or safety, and automated malware scanning is not connected. The continued availability of Content is not approval, endorsement, or confirmation that a moderator has reviewed it.
To the extent permitted by law, we may restrict access, unpublish or remove Content, suspend contributors, preserve relevant records, or change Service features and limits where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, address risk, comply with legal obligations, or operate the Service. We may act without advance notice, including while investigating a concern, and are not obliged to restore removed Content. Shared IP addresses may affect multiple people; a ban or network indicator is not a finding of personal misconduct.
6. Reports, complaints, and content removal
Use “Report this file / request removal” on a file or folder, or the contact form below. An account is not required. Identify the exact URL or item, explain the concern and your relationship to it, and include enough information to assess the request. Provide a reply address if you need a response. Do not send illegal files or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
We will assess sufficiently detailed requests and take appropriate action within a reasonable period, considering the seriousness and urgency of the concern, the information available, any necessary verification, and applicable legal deadlines. Credible reports involving child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, serious threats, or immediate safety risks receive priority. Clearly unlawful Content may be restricted while a request is assessed.
We may seek clarification, evidence of authority, or a response from the contributor, and may provide a redacted account of a complaint where appropriate and lawful. We do not guarantee removal merely because a request is made. Bad-faith, abusive, or materially misleading reports are prohibited. You may request reconsideration through the same form by identifying the item and explaining the relevant facts.
Unpublishing stops public access through P Drive’s own routes. We cannot recall downloads or control copies, caches, search results, or republication by other people. This reporting channel is not an emergency service; contact emergency services directly for an immediate threat to life or safety.
7. Copyright and rights notices
For a copyright notice, include the claimant’s name and mailing address, contact details, the work concerned, your ownership or authority to act, the exact location of the alleged infringement, the acts complained of, and their date and time if known. Explain why the use is unauthorized, taking any applicable licence or exception into account.
Canadian statutory infringement notices must meet the applicable requirements, including restrictions on settlement offers, demands for payment or personal information, and links to such demands. Where the notice-and-notice framework applies, we will meet applicable forwarding and record-preservation obligations. If forwarding is not possible, including because no usable contributor contact is held, we will address any applicable obligation to explain that limitation. We may separately restrict or remove Content under these Terms and suspend repeat infringers. A complaint does not authorize the release of private contributor records to a claimant.
9. Privacy notice: information and purposes
Public contributions. Published files and their titles, filenames, folder names, descriptions, tags, dates, nickname, and selected reuse licence are public. Anyone may access, download, share, or index them. Publish personal information only when you have a lawful basis and the necessary permissions. A private management key does not make the associated published files private.
Upload and security records. We record submission identifiers and timestamps, the IP address visible to the hosting infrastructure where available, approximate IP-derived country, available network/ASN information, connection indicators, user agent, request identifier, submitted file metadata and sizes, and moderation history. When native sign-in is used, account identifiers and information supplied by the sign-in system may be processed. We also retain reports, correspondence, contact details voluntarily provided, and relevant action records. Older uploads may have incomplete records or only an IP fingerprint.
Why records are used. These records support hosting and contributor management, abuse prevention, rate limits and bans, content investigations, responses to rights and privacy requests, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. IP addresses may identify a shared connection, proxy, hosting provider, or platform gateway. Approximate location and VPN/proxy indicators are fallible; “unknown” does not establish that no VPN was used.
Access and providers. Private audit and contact records are restricted to authorized administration and necessary service-provider processing, subject to lawful disclosure. They are not included in public file metadata or public profiles. The application uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare-backed infrastructure; hosting and sign-in providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices. Processing or storage may occur outside your province or country, where different laws and lawful-access rules apply. Canadian-only data residency is not promised.
P Drive accounts. If you create an email-and-password account, we store your email, a salted password hash, a hashed recovery code, and account/session identifiers to provide sign-in and link your contributions. We do not require a phone number, verify the email address, or send verification messages. Your email and account credentials are private. A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Keep your recovery code private; it can reset your password.
Browser storage and safeguards. Browser storage supports private management keys, recent items, and discovery preferences. Hosting and sign-in features may use cookies or other necessary technical storage. Clearing browser storage may remove a locally saved guest key. We use access controls, private object storage, and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the Service; no transmission or storage system provides absolute security. We do not sell private upload audit records or grant advertisers access to them through the application.
10. Retention, access, and privacy requests
Deleting a public file does not automatically erase the associated upload metadata, IP records, moderation decisions, reports, or necessary restricted copies. Audit records have no automatic expiry tied to file deletion. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the identified operational, security, dispute, and legal purposes, and will delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required, subject to applicable preservation duties. We may retain a narrower abuse-prevention record after other data is removed.
The operator is the privacy contact. Use the form below to request access to or correction of personal information, ask about retention or disclosure, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy complaint. We may require proportionate verification of identity or authority and limit access where required to protect another person’s information, an investigation, privilege, or another lawful interest. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Withdrawal may limit our ability to host or manage your contributions and does not invalidate prior lawful processing.
These Terms do not restrict any right to complain to the appropriate privacy regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, where applicable.
11. Service availability and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and user Content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without representations, warranties, or conditions, express, implied, or statutory, including concerning merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, security, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee the identity or authority of contributors, the authenticity or legality of Content, the safety of a download, or that every prohibited upload will be detected.
You are responsible for your decisions to access, download, publish, or reuse Content and for reasonable precautions appropriate to those activities. Keep independent backups. Storage limits, previews, links, formats, and continued hosting may change; the Service is not a guarantee of permanent preservation. These provisions do not displace any duty or protection that applicable law makes mandatory.
12. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and persons acting on the operator’s behalf will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from the Service, user Content, third-party conduct, outages, security incidents, or moderation decisions, regardless of the legal theory and even if advised of the possibility.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, the operator’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 and the amount you paid directly to the operator for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This allocation applies only to the extent enforceable. It does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and does not waive non-waivable consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and persons acting on the operator’s behalf from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your Content, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This indemnity does not extend to loss caused by the indemnified person’s own unlawful conduct to the extent indemnification is prohibited. You may not settle a claim in a manner that imposes an admission, payment, or other obligation on the operator without the operator’s written consent.
13. Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Subject to mandatory law and any non-waivable right to bring a proceeding elsewhere, disputes arising from the Service or these Terms are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ottawa, Ontario.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. No term creates an agency, partnership, employment, or fiduciary relationship between a user and the operator. Obligations and provisions that by their nature should survive removal of Content or cessation of use, including outstanding rights, record preservation, indemnity, and lawful liability limits, survive.
We may update these Terms and will publish the effective date here. Changes apply prospectively; material changes to personal-information handling will be accompanied by notice and consent where legally required. These Terms, the Sharing Guidelines, and any expressly applicable additional terms form the agreement for use of the Service. Mandatory legal requirements prevail over inconsistent wording.
14. Contact the operator
Send a content report, copyright notice, privacy request, legal-process inquiry, or request for reconsideration. Messages go to the operator’s private moderation inbox. A submission reference confirms receipt by the system; it is not a decision or confirmation of legal service. Use any mandatory statutory method of service when one applies.
